NAME

       nbdkit_parse_bool - parse human-readable boolean strings for nbdkit

SYNOPSIS

        #include <nbdkit-plugin.h>

        int nbdkit_parse_bool (const char *str);

DESCRIPTION

       Use the "nbdkit_parse_bool" utility function to parse human-readable strings such as "on", "off", "true",
       "no" etc into a boolean value.

RETURN VALUE

       The function returns 0 or 1 if the parse was successful.

       If there is an error it calls nbdkit_error(3) and returns -1.

LANGUAGE BINDINGS

       In nbdkit-ocaml-plugin(3):

        NBDKit.parse_bool : string -> bool

       In nbdkit-rust-plugin(3):

        use nbdkit::*;
        pub fn parse_bool(s: &str) -> Result<bool>

HISTORY

       "nbdkit_parse_bool" was added in nbdkit 1.8.
