SYNOPSIS

           fp_mul:long(mul1:long,mul2:long)

ARGUMENTS

       mul1
           the 64 bit floating point multiplicand

       mul2
           64 bit floating point multiplier

DESCRIPTION

       result is multiplicand times multiplier
